Heatsink 14x14x8mm Black Aluminum

🌡️ Aluminium Heat Sink 14 x 14 x 8 mm — black anodised

An extruded aluminium heat sink for TO-92, SOT-223, small SMD MOSFETs and 1-2A linear regulators. The dense fin stack adds real surface area in a small footprint, and the flat machined base sits evenly on the component so heat transfers straight into the metal.

✨ Key Features

• Extruded aluminium with dense, even finning — good surface area for its size
• black anodised — a hard anodised layer that resists corrosion and, on black, also helps radiation
• Flat base for consistent contact with the package or thermal pad
• Compact 14 x 14 x 8 mm footprint that fits tight enclosures, DIN rails and PCB edges
• Lightweight, so it can be bonded directly to a component with thermal adhesive
• Works passively; add a small fan only if you are pushing a lot of dissipation

🔬 Specifications

• Material: extruded aluminium (6063 grade class)
• Dimensions: 14 x 14 x 8 mm
• Finish: black anodised
• Base: flat, machined
• Mounting: thermal adhesive pad, thermal epoxy, or a clip/screw through the fins
• Fits: TO-92, SOT-223, small SMD MOSFETs and 1-2A linear regulators

💡 Perfect For

Keeping linear regulators, MOSFETs, motor drivers, audio amps and other dissipating parts cool. Use thermal compound or a thermal pad between the package and the base — a dry joint loses most of the benefit. For best results mount the fins vertically so air can flow between them.

Note: this is a passive heat sink; it spreads and radiates heat but does not create cooling on its own.
